I'm pretty sure it was Gabe Gross last year, but I'm not sure who it is now. I would think that it's Gabe again.

Edit: Dave Bush will be mentioned as well, but I think he's a last-resort option.

Not sure what year, but I am going to say Lorretta.

Going back further, I think Brian Harper technically was our emergency catcher when he was here, and he was used sparingly there. But I realize he likely doesn't fit the description of an emergency catcher, even at his age and lack of ability behind the plate when he was here.

Loretta has never caught in a Major League game, but he did pitch once for the Brewers.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I think one of the Cubs broadcasters said he asked Yost, and the first name that came up was Counsell, then Gross and Bush.

Counsell, Gross and Kendall are all chasing a foul pop-up. The ball lands in the dugout, where all three of them gruesomely smash into each other and land on Mike Rivera who is sitting in the dugout. Dave Bush saves the day.
