We are only 2 games back with 3 to play. It isn't that crazy for the Cubs to lose 2 of 3 from the Reds. The Brewers could possibly win the next 3 to force a one-game playoff if they have enough left in them to overcome Ned's poor decisions. I don't give it much hope, but we still have a slim chance. If the Reds and Padres would only cooperate.

Oh, and the Cubs lost. And....nope, that's it.

If we win tommorow, for the first time in 15 years we will have a winning ballclub and Cappy's horrible streak will end.

at least we reduced our number of meaningless games this year by about 1500% (okay, that's just a guess, but it's gotta be something like 30 meaningless last year down to only 2 this year)

The only silverlining I see from this season is the potential Fielder and Braun have. These 2 guys are powerhouses.

 

Everything else about this season can be tossed out the Window, it's meaningless.

It's kina hard to impress me right now when a month ago we had this division in hand. It's an embarrassment that we(and the Mets) blew such huge leads and couldnt take advantage to come back when we had the chance. As I said earlier, we'll be lucky if we win 1 more game.
