Thank you Hector Luna for misplaying a possible out into a 3-run HR.

As soon as the catcher moved to set up inside, I knew it was going to be a HR or at least close.

Anyone else notice that Prince is going with no batting gloves tonight?

He's not tight with Moises Alou is he?

I know I'm a big JDLR fan, but does anyone else feel that he's starting to put it together?

Hopefully you're right. I've always been a big Jorge fan as well, just not very vocal since his starts left alot to be desired. Even when he gave up those 6 or so runs in his start vs. Pittsburgh I thought he looked pretty good, but just got sorta unlucky.

You know, tonight is a night I'll actually be glad to have Shouse. Just the threat of actually having a LOOGY in the pen might keep Edmonds on the bench in the mid-late innings.

This is fun...

I think the guys on the cardsclubhouse boards are feeling just about the same way we did last week. I've gotta say it feels a lot better to be on this side of that spectrum. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

edit: oh hey and as I type this we score again!

I couldn't believe the Cards gave Juan Encarnacion a 3 year deal. He and Jacque Jones would be a good platoon.

Just wondering what the Cards were thinking this offseason. Trade King for Miles, sign Juan E, and don't fill the left field void. Reyes or Wainwright would get them another stick.

Maybe they are playing the Cubby way. Get marginal players and count the money you save while the turnstiles go crazy.

Who the heck is this guy and what has he done with Mark Mulder? He's been horrible in his last 4 starts now. It's got to be painful for him to be watching his big free agent payday coming up this offseason, knowing that he's having a down year and it's going to cost him.

I heart runs! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

6 to 0 in the second, against a lefthander not named Glendon Rusch.
