Conor Jackson?

Posted

Arizona shopping Jackson to the White Sox

I will admit that I do not know all that much about Conor Jackson. A quick look at his numbers shows he appears to have an above average eye at the plate but below average power for a corner infielder. It does appear that he has played in the outfield before so he might be able to handle left field. He is only 25, which helps too. Do you think the Brewers would have any interest in someone like him? I can't see us giving up any pitching now, though, with Sheets on the DL.

The guy has hit in the minors, but with relatively little HR power, and in very favorable hitters' environments. He doesn't have a lot of defensive value, and hasn't played a lot of LF or done so well. I don't see him as a good fit for Milwaukee given what he'd cost.

any trade with the Dbacks should net us the quirky Chris Carter, not Conor Jackson. Of course, if Chad Tracy were available, he would be solid.

Not sure why they would move Jackson, but unless it brought us Carlos Quinton or Justin Upton I wouldnt give them a thing.
