Timber Rattlers at Miller Park Friday 4/24; Chris Mehring Interview at Bernie's

Do T-Rats season ticket holders get tickets for this game? I'm not sure if this game was originally scheduled to be played in Appleton or not at all. I wanna go, but I really don't wanna pick up a ticket when they go on sale if I already have a ticket waiting for me with my season package.

Update: A representative of the T-Rats just gave me a call and told me that I'll be receiving a ticket to the Miller Park game with my season tickets. Any other season tickets holders will be getting tickets to this game as well.

Speaking of the Rattlers, Bernie's Crew has an interview with announcer Chris Mehring - we'll be linking to all his broadcasts in '09, it doesn't appear their are pre-game interviews, as is the case in Nashville, Huntsville, and Helena, but we'll see if we can inspire Chris to go that route.

We plan on a separate audio thread this season, separate from the Link Report, from which the interviews can be more readily accessed.

Keep your fingers crossed for Brevard County webcasts this season, we may luck out there!

If I remember my rows correctly, row 4 behind the dugout is actually the first row

If that is the case, that will be awesome. I've had the good fortune of sitting directly behind the dugout at Fox Cities stadium....it will be neat to be able to do the same at Miller Park for a game.

If anyone can confirm or disprove panthernick's theory, I'd be interested to know. Otherwise, I guess I'll just find out on April 24th.

I haven't personally sat there but sellers on StubHub with tickets behind the dugout state that row 4 is actually the first row. Bring your camera.

I'm almost positive thats the case. I just picked up row 5 behind the dugout because I was fairly certain it was really row 2.

Here's a bit of info about the game my ticket rep just sent me. "It will be general admission but a few sections will be blocked off for our (Timber Rattlers) ticket package holders. Also, everything is general admission, so the first person to get there will get the front row, might want to let your friends know that." Seems a bit strange given that tickets purchased through the Brewers have seats/rows on them.

Makes sense. That's what they did when they had the Beloit/Wisconsin games. With all tickets being the same price, the people who get there first should get first choice.

The original e-mail that was sent out by the TimberRattlers said this:

All tickets for the "Border Battle" at Miller Park are just $10 each and go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. In addition, all seats will be reserved. Tickets may be purchased by visiting the Miller Park Box Office, online at brewers.com, or by calling the Brewers Ticket Office at (414) 902-4000 or 1-800-933-7890.

If tickets are indeed General Admission now, it is a change from what was originally communicated, and I will demand restitution :-)

I just sent him an email confirming the general admission seating. I'll post again when I hear back from him.

It is assigned seating for the Miller Park game. The tickets have section/row/seat on them, and that is where your tickets are for. It is not general admission like the previous Miller Park games.

I just heard back from the Timber Rattlers regarding the game at Miller Park. The tickets will not be general admission. The seating for the game is going to be assigned by the seat location that is on the tickets. Just want to give quick props to the Rattlers staff for the quick responses to my questions and the awesome customer service. They have been great.
