Sporting News Mentions the Brewers adding a bat

They mentioned that adding a veteran Bat is needed for the Stretch Drive and they might Look at Reggie Sanders from Kc once he comes off the DL.

meh. I guess if they take Mench off our hands that would be a good deal for us, but I'm not sure KC needs more mediocre OFs any more than we do.

This move would be us moving a young pitcher to them for Sanders. GM comes from Atlanta and those guys love to stock up on arms.

 

Sanders would be a nice solid player to add, but with Hall injury I think they may need to get some a bit better.

Sanders is OK, but I don't see him being much better than the options the Brewers have at this point. I'd rather see the Brewers go after someone a little better.

I mentioned Sanders in my recap a couple weeks ago. He'd be a very solid addition, but makes more sense to an AL team.
