NHL Playoffs '09

I'm looking forward to this as I always do. Any predictions? I'm a die hard Pens fan, but don't think they will get past Boston if they run into them.

 

Here's how I see things... and I'm wrong every year.

 

East Finals Boston over New Jersey

 

West Finals San Jose over Detroit

 

Stanley Cup Finals San Jose over Boston in a 7 game thriller.

 

But it would be nice to see Pittsburgh get revenge over Detroit in a rematch from last years's final.

New Jersey over Pittsburgh for the East

 

Vancouver over Calgary in the West

 

New Jersey in 6 over Vancouver

Best time of the year! Baseball starts and the NHL playoffs.

 

I'm rooting for the Blackhawks who are back in the playoffs after an absence of 7 years.

The Penguins looked pretty tough tonight. Puck bounced our way a lot also, with at least 3 Philly shots hitting the post. Hopefully we can gain some momentum off of this first game.
