I only knew he was born in Mexico and assumed he grew up there--I also live out of market and Extra Innings never gives the pre- or post-game shows, so I've never actually heard the guy speak.

 

Well, I pulled out my media guide and yes sir--he graduated from Trimble Tech in Texas. I apologize, Yo! (Lo Siento, if you prefer!)

At times its hard to tell that he even has an accent. He's pretty fluent.

It's pretty cool this year that MLB Extra Innings is actually showing pre and post-game shows. The first year I subscribed, nothing came through. Sometimes I need to go to the FSN-WI channel rather than the MLBEI channel though
