  1. Plus Branyan is in the AL with the Angels these days
  2. My early money is on Nats / Orioles
  3. Ha, they used the 40 year old virgin Braun picture as the side bar in that article.
  4. I sent that Pic to Nyjer and he replied: "2 funny! that watz up"
  5. Saving him for Game 7 in the World Series.
  6. I've always thought people boo because they consider the pitcher "afraid" to pitch to the batter or afraid of the runner stealing, and thus keep making pickoff attempts. Never fully understood it though. I consider a pitcher that makes multiple pickoff attempts to be really out of rhythm and thus the hitting team at advantage anyway...
  7. I say next time the Cubs are in Milwaukee someone makes a big cardboard cut out of the cover of the unwritten rule book and have the doorman offer it up to Quade after they exchange lineups.
  8. What a crazy 3 years for Hart. Congrats to him, as well as Yo and Ryan.
  9. The "c" in his name is not capitalized. Lucroy. If one were to spell it based on how Brian Anderson says it, thats how you would think it is spelled.
  10. Casey McGehee- Milwaukee's Best Ice. Been around awhile, not given much love, but is a heavy hitter and is reliable.
  11. How come Aramis is only on for 2.000 in 2012? I don't understand if that means he due 2 mil or something else.
  12. Like the Move. I would love to see Melvin publicly offer Fielder a big deal, as big as Melvin thinks is reasonable, and if he takes it, great. If he doesn't take it, start working on trades.
  13. How does Davis = Davis and Hawkins = Hawkins? When comparing last season and this season wouldn't you have to put in their counter part from last season? So it would be Parra or Suppan compared to Davis and probably Difelice compared to Hawkins. And how do you have Gomez Its clear to me that the pitching staff is much more stable this season. Both the rotation and the bullpen.
  14. 4/5 - vs COL L 4/6 - vs COL W 4/7 - vs COL L 4/9 - vs STL L 4/10 - vs STL W 4/11 - vs STL W 4/12 - @ CHC L 4/14 - @ CHC W 4/15 - @ CHC L 4/16 - @ WSH W 4/17 - @ WSH W 4/18 - @ WSH L 4/20 - @ PIT W 4/21 - @ PIT L 4/22 - @ PIT W 4/23 - vs CHC L 4/24 - vs CHC W 4/25 - vs CHC L 4/26 - vs PIT W 4/27 - vs PIT W 4/28 - vs PIT W 4/29 - @ SD W 4/30 - @ SD L 12 home games 11 away games Tiebreaker: Prince HRs + Hoffman SVs + Gomez SBs = My optimistic prediction is 13 - 10 My tiebreaker: 2 + 7 + 1 = 10
  15. The Problem is he is getting paid like a #2-3 pitcher and he can still barely hang on the the #5-6 spot, and thats with Macha and Melvin both giving him the benefit due to his large salary. If he was making what Narveson makes, he would have been let go or traded, IMO.
  16. Wes Helms. I know they didn't release him, but he took away at bats from my favorite brewer of all time, branyan and I just couldn't stand him. No real other reason why though.
  17. He's 25-26 Never played a full season in the bigs. Career .242 hitter, he can't steal a base, and has a fielding % of .972 Forget the off field accusations...he's just not a good player, and at 25-26 he's on the very fringe of potential stage. I wouldn't care if DM bought and stashed him Corey Patterson style, but why even waste a spot in Nashville for him? Theres already enough average OF'ers on the pile.
  18. Lol, how would he change his approach anyway? Throw Softer? Maybe throw fastpitch softball style? Just limit the damage soup. 200 Innings 5 ERA, I'll be ecstatic.
  19. It's like in Madden when you go out and sign all your studs to 7 year contracts and then 3 years down the road you run out of money and can't even sign guys for the min to fill the roster. Except this is for real. Crazy.
  20. I had a 9 pack in Section 222 in '08 and I was able to get 200 level LF Bleachers. At first I thought it had to do with timing, as before I logged in to order my tickets, many said that all that was left was 400 level tickets. Then, When I logged in there were some 200 level tickets. Where was you 9 pack located? Also I was originally told I could only buy as many playoff tickets as I had packages, but I was still allowed to buy multiple playoff tickets.
  21. I don't understand a few things: 1) Isn't Weeks the leadoff hitter next year? I think he will be. 2) People would really rather keep JJ and Escobar on this team next year rather than do this trade? To me it seems that would not only stunt Escobar, but just cause even more trouble than before. Also, if JJ was kept and didn't improve, not only do the Brewers have go after Cam for 10 mil, but then pay Hardy's 5 mil and then be stuck with a 4.5 mil player on the bench or in the minors. 3) I don't think a MLB GM should keep guys to "Hope he regains his trade value" I don't think there was a market for JJ at all and Melvin took what he could get, and got it.
  22. I'm happy for him. Anyone who had to coach in the position Washington put him in, deserves another shot.
  23. Good Interview once again. Keep em coming!
