Edit: Telly Hughes says on Brewers Live that Counsell is starting today because he has good career numbers against Wellemeyer. Also said that since he has good numbers against Kyle Lohse, he'll likely see the start in the series finale as well...looks like no Gamel starts anytime soon.

I completely agree. They can't sit him on the bench and then expect him to produce this weekend as a DH. He should be starting today, tomorrow, and Thursday, because we face two lefties on Tuesday and Wednesday. Counsell is 2-4 against Wellemeyer, that isn't exactly a huge sample to base starting him off of.
