This is worse than the games in Minny. Wainwright has made numerous mistakes and left a ton of pitches up. These are pitches they were hammering out of the park a couple weeks ago. Someone needs to start hitting the ball here...these guys are cold. Now Braun probably won't even play tomorrow to get an extra day of rest...uggh.

Forget tonight. Tonight's loss means nothing. Instead, the balance of our season might be hanging in the balance as I type (Braun's x-rays)....I will breathe a huge sigh of relief when I go to brewers.com in the morning and find out Braun's wrist is fine and will start Wednesday afternoon.

 

As much as I want to believe it's "just a bruise" I'm having flashbacks of Weeks injury. It seemed pretty minor at the time he left the game and the next day, boom - out for the season.

X-Rays negative on Braun's wrist. Looks like he'll see how it feels in the morning. Personally I'd prefer to see him sit out combinded with Thursday's off day just to be extra safe and give him the rest.

No doubt, two days off in a row missing only 1 game to get ready for the weekend series is a great idea.
