Nice little recap, but I wonder about those grades. Cutter Dykstra gets a higher grade than Jonathon Lucroy? Jeremy Jeffress gets a B?

Per the intro the grades haven't been updated just the notes.

 

"This is a REVIEW of the old list. I'm not doing new grades or lists until I start working on the 2010 book."

Remember those were the pre-season grades...he is revisiting that list. Dykstra is a guy a lot of people liked out of the draft, and it's not at all clear that this year is of any value in evaluating the guy. He was promoted very aggressively to Wisc, and given everything else on his plate, it's perhaps not surprising he had issues.

 

Anyway, it's surely not the same list as he would produce now...it's fair to say, for example, that Cole Gillespie wouldn't be there. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

 

A few places it seems that he wasn't aware of injuries that might soften some of the criticisms. A lot of promising young farmhands had lost seasons due in part to injury, making for a disappointing year.

Plus he has Lucroy at Grade B (noting the "C" is his position), thus ahead of Dykstra.
