Since when did Mench become thirty. According to my calculations he should be twenty eight.

Mench is such an afterthought due to his non-production, but I really wonder what his trade value is? He was a wanted commodity by many teams at one point this past year. In this article, however, he certainly comes off as weak-minded.

Considering he'll get $4M or so in arby and Juan Pierre is making $9M, I'd say his trade value is pretty good.

 

Both he and Jenkins have a lot more suitors than they did a month ago.

I think you make a good point doa. Considering what the free agent market conditions are now, both Mench and Jenkins are relative bargains and bargaining chips.

 

Everything I've seen points to Mench as 28 also. He'll turn 29 on January 7th if memory serves.
