Im starting to lean that way, too. Number one the guy has to be able to hit...but being at least "league average" in the field isn't too much to ask.

Is there really no hope that Lawrie will develop into at least an average defensive 2B? We've stuck with Weeks all these years, and he's not exactly a gold glover out there.

If the Brewers do Keep Weeks and sign him to a long term deal any chance Lawrie could be moved to another position.
