Chris Young

What would it take to get Chris Young from D-backs? He would look great in CF, short- and long-term. Would Davis for Young make sense?

It probably makes sense for the Brewers, but would the D-Backs do that? I have my doubts. What kind of year did he have in the minors? He struggled in the bigs but it was only through 70 ABs.

I would think that he would cost a LOT more than just Davis. Maybe they MIGHT contemplate Davis and Rogers for Young but even then I doubt it. I remeber seeing Chris Young as a top 15 prospect in the minors before this season. You don't trade a player like that away after 70 below average AB's.

Just to play devil's advocate. Are you saying you wouldn't have pulled the trigger on the Young & El Duke for Vazquez deal?

 

Hindsight is 20-20, but at the beginning of the year it seemed like the Sox had a steal with this one.
