1984 Championship Baseball Board Game by Milton Bradley

I was just in my basement looking through some of junk trying to find some old baseball cards for my 3 year old son to look at and I came across 28 of the 30 cards from this game. I used to LOVE this game as a kid. My dad and I would play it, and later I would play with my little brother. Basically you got a "team", either NL or AL and would roll two dice, on the back of the cards were various dice combinations that would result in a hit, out, etc. Here are the cards that I have...who am I missing?

Doing some thinking back, perhaps Tony Gwynn and Paul Molitor?

 

EDIT - Not Gwynn. he hadnt even played full season before 1984. Looking at the 1983 All Star teams though got me thinking. Perhaps Tim Raines and Jim Rice. I have 14 Al and 14 NL players, so it is one from each league.

That sounds right, although Ron Kittle is pretty easy to forget. That would give me 4 shortstops and 8 Ofs.

I had this game when I was a kid. It had the cardboard stadium that you built by folding and tabbing it together. Great game for a 12-year old kid!

 

I've got the cards somewhere at home but I couldn't tell you where.

When I read the title of this thread, the "by Milton Bradley" part reminded me of a game where the Brewers were playing Milton Bradley's team du jour, and Ueck said something along the lines of, "Milton Bradly, isn't that some board game maker?"

I found an old baseball game in my closet recently as well. Is this the one where the cards are disc shaped?

No, this one the cards are regular trading card types, I think they may have even been made by TOPPS, however, the game was not licensesd by MLB so all the logos are air brushed off the hats and so forth. On the backs of the cards there are the stats from 1983 and then all of the various dice combinations from snake eyes to box cars and an outcome (i.e. single, double, out, k, double play, etc) associated with each outcome, different for each player based on their career stats (i.e. Reggie Jackson was 4x likely to roll a HR than Ozzie Smith).
