Just got home from the game tonight and it was a great win. Gomez looked absolutely lost at the plate though. Cain should be in there at least platooning with Gomez. And what more can you say about Edmonds? He just keeps at it.

I like many have pounded Wolf pretty hard for his lackluster season, but I have to give the guy credit. He pitched his butt off last night. After he gave up those two early runs I thought it was going to be a long night. He settled down and went 7 strong.

 

Great performances by Villanyeva, Axford and of course Edmonds on that PH HR. An awesome win.
