If you count the Expos and Nats as one franchise, Matt has played for 12. That doesn't mean he isn't legend, though. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Go Matt!
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

And believe me I am still alive.

I'm playing baseball and I'm still alive.

I feel FANTASTIC and I'm still alive.

While you're dying I'll be still alive.

And when you're dead I will be still alive.

Still alive.

Still alive.

out of all the guys in baseball- he definitely wouldn't have be the first guy i would have guessed to be playing into his 40s. Julio Franco- yes- dude was ripped. stairs, looked like he was beer league material at 30. hilarious.

I remember when he played with Brewers in 2002 he was considering retiring so he could go back to Canada and play hockey the rest of his days. It's just too easy to make a cool million or two every year playing the lefty power bat off the bench. Congratulations, Matt! You deserve every penny.

I'm amazed that this guy is still around. He's a likable enough bloke, but he looked washed up back in the day when he was with the Brewers (from my memory, it seems like it took him about 4 months to start hitting).
