  1. I’m pretty happy honestly. All four you named look to be decent bets to make the majors in some form or fashion. None of them are slugs on defense. They have some baserunning ability to varying degrees. And each has shown good on-base ability in spite of contact related issues. The Brewers were spot on with their power eval of each. They hit lots of dingerz. I’m giving these four profiles a long leash.
  2. Yes, something about his mix and shapes is working. Long live the Mayor King!
  3. Ohhhh age-20 Venezuelan pitcher Ismael Yanez is pumping 95’s and 96’s in relief of Broughton. Sinkers. Working in some decent breaking stuff as well.
  4. GameDay seems to be having trouble figuring out Joey Broughton (great to see him debut!). I see he's topping out around 90. As I think about Tayden Hall’s early success in 2026, I must remind myself to be patient with these high school picks. Some of them take off immediately and fly through the system but others don’t. Most of them experience mixed results and often some injuries too. What I’m try to say is give Joey a long leash.
  5. Fun night so far in AZ! SS CJ Hughes hit a sub 100 MPH EV jack. Everyone’s on base. Acosta at 3B. Antunez in CF. Holden and Nieman have thrown a ton of strikes. Not so much for the Padres hurlers.
  6. Great inning! No damage. Numerous 93’s and even a 94 on a high fastball. Got a swinging K on a nasty splitter the catcher had to block.
  7. Thirst quenching and hype feeding pro debuts for CJ Hughes and Rylan Mills
  8. I collected all the preseason picks into this stat page. Joey Broughton doesn't seem to be in the database yet. Will add him when he debuts. Keith, O'Rae, Woodward and Fitzpatrick shine the brightest as of May 1st Waiting on debuts for Montilla, Robinson, Broughton, Knoth
  9. Let’s go, Fitz! Facebook WWW.FACEBOOK.COM
  10. Could this be the call up for one of my preseason picks to click?? Facebook WWW.FACEBOOK.COM
  11. Owens looks like a hell of a find. If the stat line doesn’t jump out and get you excited, it’s worth noting he was placed in Wisconsin, a more aggressive assignment than where several college arms drafted ahead of him have started or are expected to start. That speaks volumes.
  12. 16 players in the org. have an OPS North of .900 (.950 actually) headed into this week's games. Early Season .900 Club
  13. I was digging through the org this morning. My main thought; throw more strikes boys, if you can. Walk rates are way too high. My second thought; it’s early. If you dig, there are some really nice performances, even on the mound.
  14. Get the Wilson boys back home. Plenty of acceptable K:BB. Play Luis Corobo and Luis Lameda more. They’ve both looked more comfortable in the box, especially in the swing decision department. Ebel’s timing is out of whack to my eye.
  15. Josiah Ragsdale took a walk against a sidearm lefty, stole second uncontested due to wild pitch, stole 3rd on a throw, and took home on a wild pitch. No hits yet this year but he already has 6 steals.
  16. Love it. Swing at the first meatball you see. Even better if you rip it 100 MPH. Nice work, Luke Adams. Luis Lara had singled on a ground ball up the middle.
  17. Sweet. 1st pro hit for Daniel Dickinson is an infield dribbler.
  18. There we go. Luis Lameda walked, stole second, and scored on Jose Anderson's crushed double. Anderson saved the run with a heady slide after a nice throw from LF. Clutch by Anderson. Ortuno had been rung up on a borderline pitch and Handelfry Encarnacion had a poor at bat which ended in two check swings at out of zone nonsense for a K.
  19. Brock Wilken took a hack at a meatball when given the chance. First pitch too. Got under it.
  20. I see Juan Ortuno was chosen as the starting SS in Brady Ebel's absence.
  21. The Wilson Average Joes (errr Warbirds) offense loaded the bases on b2b2b walks. Then Pedro Ibarguen (127 wRC+ and .408 OBP in 45 games last season) ripped a pretty solid ground ball in the left-side hole. The third baseman made a nice play to start the double play. Inning over. I have high hopes that everyone will look a little more comfortable when they get back home to Wilson.
  22. Jett Williams will get it going. Missed time in Spring with injury. He's playing all over the diamond. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if he is up before the All-Star break even if the surface stats lack sparkle Greg Jones is taking quite the beating Nothing alarming in the Statcast data for Luke Adams besides the fact he still doesn't swing enough. When he swings, good things happen Luis Lara is doing everything the Brewers value in the bedrock of a player
  23. Travis Smith (Rd 15, 2024 Kentucky, $462.5k Bonus) perpetually flying under the radar.
