  1. Exactly. The ball is flying. Traditionally statistical thresholds are out the window. Comparison to league average is critical.
  2. Eric Bitonti’s homer was off the bat at 115
  3. I’m told Strosnider’s dad caught his home run ball - so that’s pretty cool
  4. Eric Bitonti must be itching to move up the chain with draft mate Cooper Pratt in town. If memory serves, Bitonti had the higher bonus by about $500k. I remain super high on him and it’s just more evidence that Pratt is a freak outlier in his age group.
  5. Bitonti, O’Rae, and Boeve all deserve a bump as well.
  6. They could really use a phenom SS in Nashville right now.
  7. Impressive train of young talent rising to the top.
  8. The recently drafted college bats continue to impress.
  9. Yes, a baby-eating Cardinals player, but it was pretty exciting to see what Josh Baez did against the Cubs yesterday. Andrew Fischer often gets lumped together with Baez as guys with big scary whiff metrics but otherwise bright red baseball savant dashboards. This is Baez in AAA. Fischer at least takes walks.
  10. It’s Danny’s summer, baby, and we’re just living in it!
  11. The college hitter draft picks are off to a solid start.
  12. It’s pretty clear to me that Bauers and Vaughn will both be with different teams next year. The Brewers have been craving a homegrown power bat to arrive and the patience and perseverance is about to pay off.
  13. Funny enough, both guys, Jones and Sabbathia, need as much, or more, body development as the teenage brigade. Jones is a toothpick and Sabbathia looks like he could convert/pack on about 25 lbs of muscle to his massive frame. My guess is both guys transform physically this offseason.
  14. I’ve been hoping they would shake up Handelfry’s spot in the order to try to get him going a bit. Looks like Jones’ arrival forced the issue.
  15. Cannot wait to watch the new college hitters!
  16. My son is telling me Blake Burke is headed to AAA. Saw it on the ‘gram, I guess. Certainly well deserved if true.
  17. The Summer of Danny continues. He’s been huge for that lineup along with the health of Pena. Fischer went yard a few minutes ago. Biloxi putting up big crooked numbers.
  18. A bit of Kyle Jones from Troy Collins Facebook WWW.FACEBOOK.COM
  19. I saw Tate Keuhner was pitching in the bridge league the other day. He’d be some nice depth down the stretch if healthy. Jett left mid-AB in the first? Next year is his year. Luke Adams is mashing.
  20. The White Sox, I’m sure, would be thrilled if Cholowsky put up Eric Bitonti level production in High-A.
  21. It’s 2023 all over again. Jeferson Quero is hitting grand slams and Eric Brown Jr. is batting lead off. Brown is going to get a cup of coffee sometime somewhere, eh? One call away.
  22. Juan Ortuno is still plugging away. Batting in premium spots in the batting order (3rd tonight). Getting on base. Splitting some gaps. Fascinating player
  23. Feast on some Trey Ebel video Facebook WWW.FACEBOOK.COM
