  1. Jesus Made broke the game open with a grand slam
  2. Jaron DeBerry folks. Might be worth tuning in tonight.
  3. Mike Boeve has a new career high in home runs and will exceed his previous career high in extra base hits with three more.
  4. Fischer mearly tripled in his first at bat
  5. He’s like an older, late-blooming Luis Lara for me. Tools maybe a half tick lower across the board but very well rounded.
  6. 480’ my gawd We used to complain a lot about the lack of power in the system. It’s a different day.
  7. Blake Burke is gunning to be the first 20/20 player in the system this year.
  8. I watched Dubanewicz last night and he operates right at about 94 with a few ticks extra when the mechanics sink up perfectly Broughton is still high 80’s but shape is workable.
  9. Juan Ortuno has a pretty good arm. Popped one tonight that impressed me. Luis Lameda’s swing usually pleases me
  10. Lots to feast on already today
  11. “What we would pay to hear what MLB GM's and Farm Directors say about the Milwaukee machine behind their closed doors. Utter envy, we'd imagine.” I had a similar thought last night. I’m more curious to know the opinion of the Brewers leadership. What are their 10 commandments of player development? Do they feel they have cracked the code or is this a luck-oriented heater? I would be quite interested to hear who their top 20 pitching prospects in the system are.
  12. Wande Torres is having a heck of a season considering the environment. Offense galore in A+ and AA. Solid pitching too.
  13. I know it’s a weird thing to say but I smell another big jump coming for Jesus Made.
  14. Notable that Osiris Ramirez started at SS. Just another one of the young hitters showing promise.
  15. It’s incredible to see this come to fruition for the organization. I’ll stump for Andrew Fischer. These lists certainly expose some of the limitations of the “national prospect pundit”. Andrew Fischer belongs in the top 25 of any top 100 list but folks are spooked by the K rate. Normally that would track, but as we know from the recent interview Andrew did, nobody on the Brewers side of the fence seems too concerned. It’s practically by design, simply a byproduct of a new-age approach to swingmaxxing from Brewers offensive dev.
  16. Naturally the 16-year-olds have the best OPS and wRC+ in the entire system
  17. A couple more good starts and Bishop Letson will have his ERA under 4.00
  18. Braylon Payne is looking like a Midwest League MVP candidate.
  19. Frias is a multidimensional madman. I believe he is just scratching the surface of his skills.
  20. Yeah I considered all of that but then I remembered they had no problem going to Black when Vaughn and Chourio were injured and he is hitting in the heart of the Sounds lineup every night. That tells me they view him as big league depth.
  21. Of course it hasn’t shut. He has some solid offensive skills (on-base, speed), a tad bit of defensive versatility, and oodles of big league control remaining. Nice depth piece who could post-hype breakout with a few solid seasons as a UT/PH/PR type.
