there were two plays that inning that a better shortstop makes. A better short doesn't need to dive for the ball up the middle, and a better short catches that ball.

I am not sure most SS get to that second ball. I agree on the first one though. Yuni is still a guy who makes plays look spectacular instead of making spectacular plays.

4 steps is a lot for furcal to make up. It's definitely not a play you should expect your ss to make, and I really don't think furcal would have made it

I agree Furcal does and did make that play just an inning earlier. It was a pretty good play though. Yuni is still playing with cement shoes.
