The Cardinal Way: ordering bean balls and spitting on

umps

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

I don't know how a Cardinals fan can defend what he did. He completely flew off the handle!!
"I wish him the best. I hope he finds peace and happiness in his life and is able to enjoy his life. I wish him the best." - Ryan Braun on Kirk Gibson 6/17/14

To be fair, the pitch to Molina was a ball.

And to be even more fair, he reacted like it was 8 inches off the plate and this is the playoffs and it's not possible for him to get suspended.

No joke, but a college buddy who is a classy fan said on facebook that Molina was trying to pump the team up....yeah, that's it!

I agree it was a ball and he had a beef, but he went OFF. I loved his reaction because I think it will hurt the team not having him during his suspension.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I giggled like a little school girl when he bumped him once.....twice. and spit. then yelled "GOOD". even if they lose this game it might come out even if Molina is suspended 4-5 games. That is a semi serious statement. Molina is a good catcher ...just a lunatic. This is what scared me about getting MOrgan early this year....I don't want a nut on my team. Only team I want a nut on is the Packers so we can turn him lose at linebacker and inflict some pain on the qb.

You mean the same fans who jump on Ryan Braun for watching his HRs, but have no problem with Pujols watching his for twice as long? I think they'll find a way.

Also to be fair to Molina it was hard to tell if he spit on the ump or if he was just cussing him out so ferociously that he just let some saliva go as well. Couldn't tell on intent, at least it wasn't as clear as the Alomar incident.
