2011-10-12 Brewers (Gallardo) at Cardinals (Carpenter) - [Brewers lose, 4-3; trail NLCS, 2-1]

[Raw Biz]

We could have had Nelson Cruz, and so could have 28 other teams WHEN HE WAS PUT ON WAIVERS.

SHUT IT ALREADY.

Don't want to start a tangent but I'm not sure why we never put in a claim for him. I was pissed when he was traded because I thought he would turn into a stud.

[ninja33]

i am pretty sick of that lance lynn character.

[brewerjamie15]

Kotsay stays in on defense. ??? He takes over for Hart? Is the bench that thin that we can't pull kotsay and hart for morgan and gomez? If you are doing defensive moves why half do it?

[jason21nl]

I'm sorry, he isn't allowed to say that he would like to see Cruz in a Brewers uniform? gets told to SHUT IT? gotcha

[Oldcity]

Kotsay looks so awkward and unnatural.

[bucksman4]

please Buckman put that to rest and worry about the players we have on the field with the Brewers jersey.

I am worried about our players, trust me!

...like I'm the only one mentioning Cruz...

[moofnelson]

I wonder if Brewer pitchers are familiar with the concept of the 1-2-3 inning?

[jjfanec]

Way to hustle down the line Molina

[endaround]

Why the hell is Kotsay in RF?

[Schlitz001]

Kotsay's in rightfield? I'd really rather have Hart for fielding and hitting.

[brewerjamie15]

a 6-4-3 would be the ticket here...

[dlk9s]

Why Kotsay in RF instead of GoGo?

Likely because Kotsay has been good at the plate tonight and maybe only slightly worse in RF than Hart.

i could see them saving gomez for a situation where they pinch hit counsell, TLR counters with a lefty, and then gomez hits.

not saying it's right, but thats probably the reasoning.

[FVBrewerFan]

Well, if we end up playing TX someone has to make it easy for RR, just tell him Cruz is Pujols.

[JET15]

Doug just called... he wants a moratorium on all Cruz posts

[sargennm]

It's a tired argument that assumes he was traded away and turned into a stud right away. Not what happened.

[a3uge]

prophetic

[jjfanec]

a 6-4-3 would be the ticket here...

There you go!

[bucksman4]

a 6-4-3 would be the ticket here...

Don't mind if I do...

[Oldcity]

Prince Fielder... Pickin' machine!

[Mr QL]

Okay... Now let's tie this thing up, forreal this time.

[BadgerFan]

Now or never.

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Kotsay's in rightfield? I'd really rather have Hart for fielding and hitting.

The way Hart's lately been "hitting" and fielding, I'd rather have Kotsay still in the lineup.

[dlk9s]

The Curse of the Cruzbino?

[Beast Light]

Nelson Cruz.
