hmm, I guess i have to agree with the D'backs announcers who apparently observed (according to AZBrewCrew) that Ramirez just looks like he wants to get his AB over and done with. He really, really does.

I realize we're missing Braun, but this offense is putting me to sleep. We had a little splash last night, and early today, but since then it's been more of the same. I can only watch Aramis Ramirez make an out so many more times before my head explodes. Why can't RR see he needs a few days off? Pretty please, Ron? Start Reynolds at third, especially against a righty. We need a power bat in the lineup.

Have to rely on the bullpen to close this out, as it looks like we're not scoring any more runs.

That's what I saw, as well. He's in a funk. He just needs a few days off to collect himself. I think he'll right the ship, so to speak, but he's really pressing right now. He's a black hole in the middle of our lineup at the moment.

Thanks, Kintzler.

Why is Kintzler in the 8th again? Thornburg, Smith, K-Rod in close games late. What is the deal here?

I was wondering the same thing.

Oh, good lord. Kintzler just blew this game.

Absolutely nothing by the offense since the 1st inning and even then they got a ton of help getting those 5 runs.

Good thing we save our best reliever for when we are trying to close out a five run lead. Then leave the back of the bullpen for the one run games.

Ugh. Q: Thornburg was pulled after a 12 pitch inning because? A: While we would have him above only Wang in the pen, Ron thinks he's below only K-Rod.

So, thornburg threw how many pitches?

I'm seriously irked that we've just given this game away.

Ron has reverted to YostRon. Henderson did not 'look good' and was not 'pitching well' so Ron (correctly) eased him back in - in low leverage situations.

Kintzler has not 'looked good' and was not 'pitching well', but Ron has him as the 8th inning guy. That is that. Form does not matter. Kintzler = 8th inning guy. Now two games blown because Ron has reverted to YostRon. Or more correctly - RonOfOld

Lyle "all he hits are doubles" Overbay.....and a double would be really nice right about now.
