Yuni rocks Japan

The great Yuni B. is hitting .141 in Japan this season. Last in the league (minimum of 53 ABs). He has not walked. His OBP is listed as .139. How is that lower than his BA? He has a .294 OPS. In his defense, he only has 74 ABs.

Yuni may be gone - but my fascination with him will take many years (if ever) to fade.

He has one sac fly. Hence the lower OBP.

And two sac bunts. Three extra outs that BA does not figure into BA without any walks.

Bring him back Doug. (Blue)

Careful, Yuni is doing poorly enough to be cut in Japan. If they cut him he may come back to the US.

Still, a roster spot spent on Yuni could be better spent being a player short.

Darn, I saw the tittle I actually thought he might be doing well. I will always love Yuni for reasons I can't really put into words.

Yuni could take Wang's spot and not hurt the team. That assumes that Yuni pitches and does not hit or play the field.

If Yuni is on a roster he will inexplicably find a way to take the field. He possesses some mysterious force that causes managers to act irrationally.

It's the smile.

Sac bunts are excused from counting against OBP, but sac flies are not.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
