    They definitely don't look like MLB uniforms, and they shouldn't use that logo when playing Washington. Maybe they will forget about them after this game.

    If he crowds the plate, he should expect to get hit and take it like Don Baylor. It's not against the rules to pitch inside, and if you are going for the inside corner, you are better off missing inside than out over the plate. Or he can learn to hit the up and in ball better so pitchers will attack somewhere else. Also, even if the Brewers don't go after him, William should pound the glove behind Wilson's head every pitch.

    The Brewers don't have much in the way of big boppers, so they have to do everything they do to score runs. And by doing so, the put tremendous pressure on the other team, leading to more mistakes. I'd like to see Chourio and Vaughn come back and give the lineup more pop, because it's harder to string together a bunch of hits against top pitching. But they still have to play the exciting, hustling, and annoying (to other team) ball that they are known for. For a number of years, the Brewers were successful at exploiting rules to maximize wins that MLB has cracked down on - excessive shifting (banned), the AAA shuttle to keep relievers fresh (limited to 3x per year), and unlimited September call-ups (now only 2). Now the Brewers are built to exploit the rules that MLB changed in exactly the way MLB wanted - more hits through the infield, more SB, and more exciting defensive plays.

    The second opinion may be routine at that level, but it sounds like he got a diagnosis he didn't want to hear.

    Any mistakes will be punished by the Brewers.

    The biggest difference between last year and this is that the Brewers aren't waiting until the end of May to bring out the relentless pressure offense. It will get in the heads of opposing players that they can't make mistakes, which will cause them to make mistakes. And the offense should be even more fun once Chourio and Vaughn come back.

    Have to believe the Brewers have seen something in Woodford that they can unlock. Otherwise the trade seems pointless at best.
