Game story

Saturday at 6:00 Central on ESPN, 39th round SS Joe Scott of Cal-State Fullerton will take on Oregon State.

UC-Irvine takes on Arizona State Saturday at noon on ESPN. 12th round RHP Wes Etheridge starred for the Anteaters last Sunday. Trying to determine when he's scheduled to pitch next...colby?

[LV Brewer Fan]

Ethridge is on the mound right now (Monday) on ESPN 2. So far 3IP 1 er (solo homer).

[Jim Goulart]

Line for Etheridge: 6 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 2 BB, 1 HBP, 1 K, 1 HR, no decision

SS Joe Scott was 2-for-5 for Fullerton.

I failed to tape this, as most folks, I imagine, were focused on Gallardo's performance tonight.

[Never Outhustled]

Ethridge was effective for most of the game, but he just has no velocity. His sinker was 80-83, but somehow how he got outs with it throwing just about every pitch. When he got in trouble, he threw a few 4 seemers up in the zone. They were 86 MPH, and they got wacked.

[DHonks]

so basically Ethridge is the new David Pember?
