I cannot believe how bad that lineup looks. It should be criminal to not surround Trout with better hitters. Andrelton Simmons is the cleanup hitter? He's a good hitter for a SS, but wow.

Tonight......This is the best lineup the Brewers have EVER had!

82? Gantner, Moore. And Money takes the group as a whole back a bit.

07? 12? 79? 80? I'll take tonight's lineup top to bottom.

158 mil payroll.

I've been told on good authority that our payroll could easily go that high and then some.

Well I think we have our answer as to whether they will pitch to Trout this series. I have no problem with them pitching around him the rest of the series.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Justin Bour fun fact: His favorite city to visit in the majors is Milwaukee (or at least per Yelich he loves Milwaukee).

Of course that plan only works of you don't walk the .103 hitter that comes up next.

Wow, that was an ugly turn around 1B for Moose. Don’t see many “singles” hit on a one hopper off the wall.

I'm so glad Aguilar's outs are hit so hard. He's good for 4 each game... Outs that is...

So I looked at xStats totally not knowing what to expect the results to be. Going into tonight's game his xAVG is .275, xwOBA is .356. He has only barrelled one ball all year which is pretty bad as his the 7.1 degree average launch angle. I think the fact he has walked more than he has struck out is padding his expected stats but his quality of contact has been pretty low.
