If it were just one pitcher it wouldn’t be that big of a deal but it’s like, all of them. Fire the pitching coach already. Send a message.

Stat cast had those 2 homers at a combined 905 feet......lol

 

Honestly surprised it’s only that much. Both of those were crushed.

All of Burnes/Peralta/Woodruff excelled & exceeded expectations under Hook's tutelage in the minors.

 

I'm willing to give everybody a little more time.

Peralta can’t throw ALL FBs, certainly not 90-92. Curve ball needs thrown least 30% of the time at that velo. He has a change up but never throws it. Maybe he needs to go down and throw 70% curves and change ups for 2-3 starts. Houser can come up.

This Pina/Thames/Gamel lineup is basically the equivalent of our classic Sunday lineups, but man, it's a lot better.

& yet, he has given up three runs to this point, more than our pitcher with only a lonely fastball.
