I think it was the standing there with his hands on his hips that gives the appearance of the "giving up on the ball".

 

I definitely don't want cain running into a brick wall (seriously, why is that still a thing in 2019???), but at least give the ball an honest play.

Lo Cain has been Lo Key Lo Quality at the plate this season. Let's see if he can start a rally.

 

Honestly, I have no idea how our record is as good as it is. Yelich is basically our only hitter and our pitching staff (though it has been quite good of late), is patchwork.

I think the fact he just stood there and watched it gave the appearance he gave up on it.

Gritty veteran pitcher with ave stuff, that’s probably 11th on the starter depth chart. But better than most teams 11th best starter
