No Brewers Games on Dish

This is really ticking me off. If anyone has any info from Dish or FSN North, please display it here. I pay almost $100 a month to see no Brewers games; it's THE reason I have satellite tv.

I'll be calling DISH to see if I can get discounts some other way while this crap is going down. I've called three times, and there has been about an hour call wait to speak with someone. The last time they just said that they were sorry but due to high call volume to call at a different time.

Why are you paying $100 a month for TV? Seriously there are better options than satellite and cable.

YouTube TV, Hulu and PlayStation Vue all have better deals. All you need is an internet connection and that is it. You barely lose anything with these subscriptions other than some obscure channel that barely anyone watches.

It is more like $80.... there are other stations we like, but this is beside the point.

I'm in the same situation as a Sling TV user. Going to go with Hulu Live TV tomorrow more than likely. The nice thing is none of these streaming services require a contract, so if Sling get's they crap worked out with Fox Sports/Disney, I can just switch back to that.

There are two parties in the negotiation, blaming the service provider exclusively isn't really fair. I'm in the same boat with Sling and I imagine things will get worked out eventually, I'll just try other streaming services until that happens. Cool thing there is you usually get a 1 week free trial, you could get yourself two or more free weeks out of that if you wanted and by then maybe things are resolved with your preferred provider.

No it is not. It is basically the point stop trapping yourself to a contract that the other end never fulfills.

I also don't think it is besides the point. It is so easy to change streaming services whenever. I had Sling as well but they don't have the Brewers so I am with Youtube now for 7 days free then I'll use them until I switch again. We as consumers don't have to take this anymore, if you can't reach an agreement then we'll just go somewhere that can.

Was bummed to lose the games on Sling. We had a sweet deal was only like $20 per month. Now I'm shelling out $50 for YouTube TV, which does have a better overall channel lineup but it was nice paying so little for Internet/Sling/Netflix.
