Should the Brewers look into buying some independent league teams?

 

For instance, the Milwaukee Milkmen - buy that team, and the Crew could have another avenue or two where they could find players.

I would highly, highly doubt that would be allowed under MLB rules. The whole point of "independant" is that they are unattached to an MLB team.

Yeah, that's called a minor league affiliate, not an independent team.
