2021-08-07: Giants (Sanchez) at Brewers (Woodruff) [Brewers lose, 9-6 in 11 innings -- Garcia misplays the would’ve been game winning catch in 9th]

[wibadgers23]

These are the types of games where I really wonder if it’s time to find a new hobby.

We just don't have the bullets in the gun with the COVID situation.

[mtrebs]

Should have been a 2-1 win and secured the series. Very disappointing loss. Every loss is disheartening lately when you blow them so badly. Would rather just have a butt-kicking once in a while.

You have to catch a fly ball. I don’t care if it’s a pandemic or not

[Bulldogboy]

This is like the third time this year that the Brewers call up a nobody off the scrap heap and have to pitch them in extra innings to lose a game. I can't say it's anyone's fault necessarily but jeez it just feels like this team needs a 16 man bullpen.

[PinaMadness]

Just put in a position player already.

[rondoman]

Sal Romano still helping the Reds.

[NYChez]

Both losses this week were directly related to the short-handed bullpen situation.

This has nothing to do with a short bullpen much less "directly related."

These extra inning games sure lead to some horrible bullpen arms pitching.

[trwi7]

Is there a reason Williams can't pitch tonight? Like, yeah, ideally you wouldn't have to use him but options are limited to mostly scrubs due to our COVID list right now and you can always rest him more when we get some guys back.

Who would have guessed Sal Romano was going to suck…….only everyone.

[Cool Hand Lucroy]

It really is amazing how losing a game to go from a 7-game lead to a 6-game lead can suck so much.

Keeping perspective on my frustration best I can, haha.

[82brewcrew82]

At least we know Romano sucks

[Eye Black]

I wonder what Luke Barker is up to right now.

[mtrebs]

See ya Ray Romano. Who’s next?

This has nothing to do with a short bullpen.

Well it obviously does. It shouldn't have been a factor but it is now.

[titletownking]

DFA Romano tonight. Guy is cheeks.

Sal Romano still helping the Reds.

Well he certainly wasn’t helping them when he was with them.

I'd blame them both on defense well before the bullpen. They definitely shot themselves in the foot both times.

[Jopal78]

I knew Romano was bad but oh boy

[rondoman]

Sal Romano, Reds secret agent.

And managerial gaffes. Not putting in JBJ as a defensive replacement, not playing the infield at DP depth in the 10th.

Lol true. Imagine being so bad the Reds bullpen deems you useless.

[trwi7]

Sal Romano s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ finally helping the Reds.

Fixed it for you.
