Sat. 7/2 - Full Slate on Tap, Hopefully Offensive Fireworks Everywhere

Look sat Nashville Box...has one thought:

"Thank the Nashville baseball gods for Andy Otero!"

He has been unreal since his call-up and tonight is no different as he covers for the rough 1 1/3 inning outing from newly acquired RHP Marcus Walden (apparently doing his best Noah Zavolas impersonation?). So far 4 scoreless innings of 3 hit, 3 k ball for Andy. Let's hope he can keep it going! 8-8 score with 2 down in the top of the 6th.

Meeker pitched 2 days ago (granted just 12 pitches) and ends up throwing 62 pitches in this game, looking dominant in the 10th (2 strikeouts) but then tiring (2 walks to load the bases) before escaping (another K). Well done man. 6-6, bottom of the 10th with Hall, Pinero and Black due up.

RHP Miguel Guerrero pitched a clean 11th and Wisconsin wins 7-6 on a walk-off infield grounder.

Jon Singleton smacked his 11th homer of 2022, a 2-run 8th inning blast to give Nashville a 10-8 victory.

That's a huge moment and a huge result for Miguel Guerrero. You gotta love it. T-Rats now 7-1 in the second half. Gimme a lil 'Woot Woot'!

Also, Jon Singelton just continues to defy the doubters. I love that he's getting some decent success at the dish of late. His OPS tells you the story regardless of cherry picking his BA. He's been fantastic for the most part this season - defensively, walks, professional approach, and now some more offense - other than the slump to end his first half stretch after Jacksonville.
