Hadn't seen this posted here yet. MLBTradeRumors says that the Brewers may have some interest in the Atros' Jose Siri. Can't imagine it would take too much to get him, and he has a lot of team control and potential. Problem is he strikes out a ton. Thoughts??

Doesn't really add anything in terms of immediate offense and would only accentuate our main issues (K's, OBP). That said, he is elite on the defensive end and has more upside than a guy like Davis. Definitely looks like a classic Stearns "buy-low" move.

Maybe a swap for Hiura? Both have potential upside at the plate and the same contact issues but Siri could at least offer excellent defense and speed which could benefit the club now as he tries to improve the contact. Similar risk/reward players but a better defensive fit for the Brewers that comes with team control.

Right. Neither is a guy you trust as a full time every day player but outfield is really 3 defensive positions and Hiura barely can play 2 infield spots
