Just keep playing him. DH at 8th in order.  As we saw in five innings tonight, it’s an adventure for him in the field.
Sadly, I expect him to sit the next two days, get pinch hit the next game, and then play him in LF two days later. I feel for the guy even though he has made his bed.

Or sit him against the righty in this game,… jerked around.

I’ve seen enough of CC this year. And I really did use to like him.

why would you PH for a guy who hit a homer off the hand he struggles vs when he’s facing a hand he then has been great against. And in a situation that doesn’t really call for a PH?

Yeah, PH for Hiura before he gets another hit and makes you look bad.

He'll be benched tomorrow too.

There is no way we can continue to jerk Hiura around on a daily basis and expect him to help this team.

It's infuriating at this point....zero reason to PH for Hiura in that spot.  It's like Counsel's #1 goal for managing every game that Keston is on the MLB roster is to make it as difficult as possible for him to settle in and get comfortable with a role.

He hit well in late June/ early July  and got sent down. Really unusual.

It's because he was the one hitter who had the minor league option available, and the Brewers' FO would be damned to just DFA a marginal utility bat - even if it meant sending one of their best hitters back to the minors instead.  Looks even worse after they've basically been forced to purge guys off their 40 man for nada after the trades they just made to add 18 more relievers just as a bunch of other pitchers that were on the IL are coming back.
