I don't understand why belicheck was so animated on that incomplete to doubs.

He was upset about the play clock getting a full reset on an incomplete pass.

Bizarre game though.

Tick tock, tick tock. There's 80 seconds we'll never get back.

If we'd had 2 timeouts, they wouldn't have done 3 straight runs. They'd likely have passed at least one time and tried to score knowing they couldn't run it out and Rodgers would get the ball back.

He probably played it that way hoping Rodgers wouldn't get the ball again and they'd win in OT.

They would've been stupid to try and pass pinned deep in their territory with a third string quarterback. And they should've had three time outs, not two. When are they going to realize that time outs are like Willy Wonka's golden tickets at end of halves? It was absolutely inexcusable of MLF to waste a time out using a challenge he had no shot of winning. I know I like to have about 90 seconds to run a game winning drive instead of 7.

I've seen enough Belichick to know that he we will almost always go for the knockout if it's at all plausible or at least take the aggressive course.

I don't think he'd run up the gut 3x if we had 2 timeouts, punt out of his end zone and give Rodgers a minute from the 50.

All conjecture but I think he'd line up to run on 2nd down and pass.

He just had golden field position and needed a measly FG to win…needed like 10 yards to try. He proceeded to run two times in a row up the middle to start.

The point is week after week we see this team waste time outs that should be saved for end of game situations just like this and to this point it's bit them in the behind. It's a problem that should've been corrected years ago but seems it never will. I'll just leave it at that.

I don't think those were really comparable situations.

It kinda is. You said he goes the aggressive course or at least try. Those runs were predictable and predictably didn’t go anywhere. Looked like a guy playing for a tie with his 3rd stringer.
