I'm going to guess that some of them aren't actually Brewers fans, and are probably holdovers from the Twins page that Brock runs.  There have been articles written over time that just can't be Brewers fans, the takes were that bad.

There were absolutely some bumps and bruises along the way and this is a learning process for us, as we’re figuring this out as we go along. We always wanted Brewers writers but finding them took time. We’re now past that stage.

Other than Matt Trueblood - who is just a baseball savant and I challenge anyone to find problems with his work - everyone who writes on the site is a Brewers fan.

Okay @edfunderburk and @TURBO and others, I think I have this streamlined pretty well. Every morning I'm logging in and moving yesterday's stories - unless they've received new comments in the past 12-ish hours - to the news forum. Right now in the Brewers forum, there are two article topics out of (I think) 30 topics listed.

That way we're guaranteed a couple of new topics every day while also not dominating the Brewers forum and pushing user-generated content out of the viewport.

Thank you, Brock … I believe this change (an extreme compromise on your part) will enhance & improve the forum experience for all … certainly for me

I appreciate you going to such great lengths in response to my concern

We're pretty aggressively growing our footprint on Facebook and Twitter, for starters. We've put a ton of effort into SEO to raise the site to prominence in searches. We're trying to break into Reddit a bit more without stepping on toes. And hopefully we'll be able to host a few more events this year that will bring in users.

It's a slow grind, there's no magic bullet that we've found; just determination and a lot of work.

Oof. More people from Facebook and Twitter. One year off from the site and not liking the direction at all. Still not browser friendly with the puffed out posts. Ads everywhere. Money money money. Good luck.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
