Announcement: We've Purchased North Side Baseball

And two days ago, we launched. I wanted to announce this publicly so none of you are taken by surprise.

Nothing will change here. I'm spending some time over there getting everybody situated but don't see myself taking a large role on that site, as I'm not a Cubs fan. I'm still going to be much more hands-on here given that I'm a, you know, Brewers fan.

But they're a good group of folks over there and I scouted the site extensively before even considering the purchase. Like the old BrewerFan.net, they had kinda fallen by the wayside and while I'm not a Cubs fan, helping revive a community with the tagline "easily the least terrible faction of Cubs fans on the internet" seemed like a worthwhile endeavor.

Hah! Don't make me ban you over there. 😁

Seriously, though, they're a pretty good group. I know there's a ton of animosity toward Cubs fans - often deservedly so - but the reason I even considered this purchase is because they're cut from a different cloth than most.
