Mudcats have a chance to tie or take the lead here. Guilarte is standing on 2B. Lara is at the dish. 4-3 Nats. Bottom of the 9th. Not to be. Lara grounds out with a weak chopper to the pitcher. Mudcats lose 4-3. They definitely had their chances after Wehrle's rough 6th.

Thanking the baseball gods for the Sounds output tonight. They lead 11-3 headed to the 9th. Lots of things going on for lotta players up and down the line-up.
