Doesn't look like the US Open is playing the way they had hoped.  Two players (Fowler, Schauffele) shot -8 on the first round, Harman is at -6 through 12 holes and Rory -5 through 12 holes, and 61 are at even or better with many not finishing the first round yet.  If I'm reading correctly, some players have only finished 9 holes.  How does that happen?

they want primetime tv golf on the east coast I guess.

Stricker with a nice run this afternoon to give himself a shot at the first three senior majors of this year but too little, too late. 

More about Langer, whose 18-hole run from #6 yesterday to #6 today was something spectacular.

I see that Fowler had a Tin Cup moment today.
