The Brewers do come back to Pittsburgh in Sept. for a Mon-Wed (10th-12th) series with a mutual day off on Thursday the 13th.

Why don't they just close the roof?

Because this is being played in pittsburgh at PNC park and they don't have a roof to close.

I say double headed, cause playing on the off day in September puts them on pace to play 24 straight to end the season. Besides which, I think the player's contract says they can't go more than 20 days without a day off. They can waive that, but why?

That was my thought Bwaz on the 24 straight days of play going against the contract. Why double-had it in Sept, when it could rain again? Forecast is clear for Thursday. Why take the chance of only playing 161?

I'm no weather expert, but it appears that Pittsburgh will start getting rain with in an hour, but the heaviest stuff will be to the south and it may clear up quickly.

I'm still hoping for a game.

Storming pretty good where I am in Columbus OH right now, about 3 hrs west of Pittsburgh (the storm is heading that way).
