I'd bet money it was given Bisaccia's recommendation.  His brother was cut by the Vikings and became a Pro Bowl K after a couple of years.  I want to be patient, but missing XPs is... odd.

I'm not convinced that finding good Ks is all that easy though. Lots of teams tend to struggle getting a good one.

There are 20 teams with a kicker over 85% on FG%, so doesn't seem overly tough.

So, less than 2/3rds of teams can find a kicker that can make over 85% of his FGs?  And that makes it easy?  

Mason Crosby didn't make 85% in his first year.  In fact... he didn't do it until year 5.
