Am I missing anyone that could be in the big league infield (other than 1st base) as a starter or utility option?

Adames - SS ;Turang - 2B, SS ;Ortiz - SS, 2B, 3B ;Black - 3B, 2B ;Miller - 2B, 3B ;Arroyo - 3B, 2B, SS ;Dunn - 2B ;Capra - 3B, SS ;Jones - 2B

Will someone be moved or is this back to the "everything will work it's way out"?

Is a deal with the Marlins... Edward Cabrera for J Payamps + one of Adames/Turang/Ortiz doable?

Monasterio - 3B/2B. Yeah, it wouldn’t be a shock to wake up to a trade of any of these players. But isn’t Cabrera’s walk-rate terrifying?

If Adames is not traded, I think we're going to see a lot of different infield mixes with Ortiz, Turang, Monasterio, and Black each getting 400+ PA. Owen Miller is probably the odd man out to start the season.

I don't think we have the depth to trade anyone really. After the top 5 (non-1B) infield options we are right around replacement level (or below).

Agreed, Surplus come from proven guys. We don't know what Black and Ortiz can do at MLB level for sure. Turang we are just hoping he can offer anything offensively in year two. Monasterio had nice season but is he a 1 year wonder or legit player?

Every name listed has question marks except Adames (well I think he is vastly overrated offensively but many Brewer fans tend to think he is some offensive stud cause he can hit dingers.) You can't trade from question marks without risking opening up a big hole.

Even with average or better injury luck, you'll still be looking at 6-7 infielders getting significant playing time in any given season. I'm very much in the "keep the depth, it'll work itself out" camp. Sure if one of them gets an offer way above what the team values them at go ahead, but no need to be proactive about shopping anyone.
