Adames and Williams Trade Ideas From Bleacher Report

I just read this and found it interesting, and I think Joel Reuter is one of the better baseball writers on Bleacher Report, so I thought I would share. 

 

Any of these ideas seem interesting or realistic to anyone else?

Absolutely love the idea of getting Jaison Chourio for Adames. Would be a fun pairing in the future.

 

if we had to trade Williams, the dodgers seem like the best fit/package.

I'd be all over the Cleveland for Adames one, if it were actually offered.  The Brewers would love a SP with some potential in the deal and Will Dion seems like he's just that, Cade Smith seems like a good bullpen arm ready to help right now, and Jaison Churio - while not being the talent his brother is (right now), has intriguing potential.

I would, however, be shocked if they were to get that much for one year of Adames.

As for the rest?  I'm a little underwhelmed.  Of course, I'm not an expert in the prospects from other teams, nor do I know what the market for either of these guys really is (and it might not be as big as my biased mind thinks it should be)...

At this point, I think we hold on to Adames until the deadline. If he plays well he can increase his value especially when a couple players get hurt throughout the year. We can find playing time for Ortiz at 3rd and give Black a month or two in AAA. Williams might be in the same boat. 

I think trading an OF (maybe Yeli) and bullpen depth (Wilson, Milner, Peguero) would be the way to go.
