Yeah, they're just a bad team. Their softer schedule doesn't matter because they are just bad.

Vikings stink too, obviously not as bad, but, at this point I think it's probably better off they make the playoffs and keep someone actually good that gets hot, out of it.

Their calling card before was always that at least if nothing else, their defense would keep them in games. I don't know what happened with that.

Who's having a worse day, Dallas or Chicago? Or the worse season?

Dallas by a mile. They were really expected to be decent whereas Chicago was pretty much all bluster from the get-go. I kind of feel sorry for MM.

We broke them last year.

Chicago day, Dallas season.  Dallas is playing tye better team and at this point with lower expectations with dak put, but overall we're expected to be good.  Whereas Chicago came in with low expectations that had been raised and lost to a bad team at home.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Dallas. They're in the middle of what's supposed to be a win now period.

Chicago has a rookie QB and...they're just starting. I do hope the reports that their staff and Poles will be back no matter what..,is true.

It's not terribly surprising but I wish Rodgers had done something, anything, after leaving GB. Like go to the playoffs once and just show you can still play. I don't think he is really the Jets biggest issue, but it's a bit of bummer to see it play out so meekly. I don't see him wanting to retire but I don't see the Jets wanting him to play again. I don't follow cap dynamics but I assume they all but have to bring him back.

No way. They can't do another year. It's over. He'll "retire" and spare himself the humiliation of being cut.

Granted I don't know the cap ramifications either, but I have to assume the Jets were prepared for the possibility that he could go after any season at this point.

This isn’t talked about enough, but I love the "replay assist" system.

No need for long reviews. No need for red challenge flags. Just a quick, "hey, that was wrong, it's actually this", and it's quickly corrected and everyone quickly moves on to the next play.

I can't see the Packers getting the division. They are effectively two games back of both even with a DET loss and have to go on the road with both as well as play some other losable games.

It's within reason that they find something in the second half here and win the NFC, but it's hard to envision they pass both in the division with how inconsistent they've been all year.

I'm fine with it though. I've watched that division championship/bye week/ home field advantage failure play out more times than I can count.

Yeah, not very likely, especially with Detroit winning tonight. But I agree that given what's transpired the last several years in the playoffs, the bye week isn't too attractive at this point.
