Remember Game 5 in 2018 vs the Dodgers? One batter for Miley before Woody came in. That was a fun idea even if we did end up losing the game

Very slow moving game for two scoreless innings with the umpire confusion, fan ejection, bullpen arm starting the game and being switched and loading the bases to no avail ... almost supper time, soon!

Before the DH CC was one of the more creative managers in the NL but after the DH he became just another cookie cutter manager and rarely strayed from the mold.

Why not an opener every day? You get your starter pitching into the 7th, and if your opener gives up runs, you’ve got 8 innings to get them back as opposed to one or two.
