Oh boy, we’ve got a DSL special already in the first inning for Crew Dos.

A reach on error, HBP, caught stealing and ground out set things up nicely for the Brewers to get out of the inning with two down and a runner on third.

But a walk. HBP, single, walk, HBP, and a chicken (back to back BALKs) plated five Ositos.

Jean Rodriguez came out for a second inning of work for Crew Dos and it didn’t go much better.

Lead off double, pop out, another error by Frederi Montero, walk, ground out, wild pitch and a double ran the score to 8-0 Cubs before Jesus Broca came on and struck out the final batter of the inning.

Never fun to open up the old milb box scores to check on the DSL teams and see one of them down 8-0 in the 3rd inning.

Conversely it’s equally fun seeing the other DSL team up 5-0 with Luis Pena adding a 19th SB
