Top stars of the night so far

HM- . Areinamo/G. Barrios, Both 3-4.
5. Case Martin 2-4 with 3 RBI in the win
4. Yophery with a 3-5 night with two 2B, and an outfield assist in the loss
2-3. Wiemer or Black, who will be #2 or #3. Both with 2 hits, and each with a HR. Black was for the lead in the 8th. Wiemer - nice to see him get some hits. Hopefully he can continue  Black a ground out with the opportunity to extend the 10th for Wiemer

1. Blalock, 7 IP 1-hit ball with 5 K.  Impressive stat line.

My goodness, JJ January just called Black out on the base paths for runner interference. He ripped a comeback liner right off the pitchers back side. Pitcher scooped it after it caromed off his body. Black was running on the grass inside the line. Was it interference? I have no idea anymore after the call last night in Colorado. The Redbirds announcer seems to think he was definitely too far into the grass.

The adventurous LHP Nick Bennett will attempt to get out of this jam. He gives up a slow-roller infield single. Men on the corners. Nobody out. That was a bang-bang play. Weakly hit. Call could have gone either way.

Ugh. Walk off 3 run jack. Sounds lose 13-11

I don't trust Nick Bennett to protect any lead unfortunately. He is so dang erratic. He absolutely hung a pitch. This one is on the Sounds pitching staff who hung several meatballs. Ugh.

That wasn't a groundout to end the 10th, my friend. That was a come backer rocket directly off the pitcher's rear or back. It was ripped. AND, it ended when they threw the ball off Black's helmet into the OF but ruled he was interfering running inside the line. The Game logs so often just don't tell the story.

They've been stuck on a bottom of the first Game Log/Box Score in the desert for nearly an hour. No updates. No weather data given (a scorching 109 F - YIKES!)  beyond the temp and conditions at first pitch. Live data is indeed extremely limited in tonight's ACL Crew tilt.

AND, suddenly the ACL Crew are finished and we have a Box. LOL. 3-1 'W'. Jason Woodward with another scoreless frame in his early outings. We also have a LHP Osbriel Mogollon sighting.

Yeah sorry about that. Work has been crazy busy lately, so I have been left with Gameday/Box score scrolling and less viewing. Hoping to get back to some live game feeds this week again.

It is true. A fly out, or single seem straightforward, unless you see the difficult catch, or the excuse me hit. They both count the same as a lazy fly ball or scorched single to right, but the process is so much different even in the results are the same. Glad we have folks like you watching the action. I hope to be back at that again soon.
