RHP Easton McGee came aboard to relieve Henderson. Line drive single to CF. Double to the RF wall. Inherited runner scores. Men on 2nd and 34d. Nobody out. Sounds lead 6-3.

Groundout to Zamora at SS (really nice scoop by Black at 1B - he's getting better in this department). Two down. 6-5 game.

Wilken and Martinez have absolutely rocked two deep outs. EMJ just ripped a 106 mph deep out. Sparks pops out to 1B foul territory on the first pitch. That's three 100 mph plus rips in the inning. Two above 105. No runs. EBJ stranded at 3B. They continue to trail 3-0 after Seminaris' rough half inning before the bats.

Really nice to see RHP Daniel Corniel in control of his stuff tonight. Great outing. He just completed his fifth inning. Really just a fantastic start. 3-0 Muddies lead headed to the sixth.

McGee finds more trouble in his second inning of work. Oppo liner over an outstretched (but too short) Capra at 3B. Oppo line drive single through the 1B side. Runners on the corners. One down. Sounds stranded three runners in their half of the 6th so it is still a precarious 6-5 lead.

Ahhhh yes, the McGee relief stint gets better. In a full count, runners on the corners, one down...he walks the batter via pitch clock violation. My goodness. Hurt me, Easton.

McGee falls behind 3-1 to the next batter. Bases juiced. Gets a strike over the inner part of the zone. 3-2 count. Hanger. Torched. Grand slam. How's this RHP Easton McGee project going in 2024? Yikes.

McGee came aboard last inning. Sounds led 6-2. They now trail 9-6.

Garcia just cleared the bases with a deep double to the deep left CF corner. 2-0 T-Rats. Lara followed with a line drive single to left CF. 3-0 T-Rats.

AND, McGee follows with a single and a two-run jack. What are we doing here, Sweetie? Get this man out of the game for crying out loud. He is getting absolutely hammered.

Mercifully. now we get the mound visit and the call to the bullpen. I mean. Sigh. 11-6 deficit.

Meanwhile, in Biloxi Seminaris just gave up a lead-off ground rule double to deep RF. He got two outs. Just gave up an RBI single to left CF. 4-0 Shuckers trail. We know those Shuckers bats don't have all that much of anything going right now as a whole. This deficit is likely too much to overcome.

In Wisconsin, they are finding all sorts of hits falling - classic baseball version. Garcia hit the deep double. Lara the liner. Then a bunch of seeing eye hits as they lead 4-0. Men on 2nd and 3rd.

Black ripped n RBI double down the 1B line to pair with his three-run jack. Nice night at the dish after the early K. 11-7 Knights. One down in the 7th. 

Wilken just ripped a deep double to left CF. He's really gotten a hold of both balls tonight tho one was simply scored a FO.

Just a fantastic 6 1/3 scoreless IP for RHP Daniel Corniel. In control of his stuff the entire outing. You love to see it.

Yoho absolutley doing Yoho things. Amazing Sweet waited as long as he did to have him do these things given he let McGee give up 9 runs to lose the 6-2 lead.

No matter, my guy C Ramon Rodriguez just ripped a two-run line drive jack over the LF wall. May have been a vapor trail on that liner. 10-1 game baby.

3-2 pitch, routine grounder to Capra at 3B. He short arms the throw. And, Black being Black can't hold on to the bounce. It was not a tough bounce. He leaned away afraid of the ball and the bounce. Rough look. He giveth. he taketh away. It's what Black does defensively. Nice dig earlier. Two errors by my eyes now. Just rough rough work defensively for this young man. He has to hold on to that ball and help his pitcher. That's a fairly routine dig for an everyday 1B.

Wilken has hit two balls well. I wouldn't go that far. Have you seen his August numbers or watched any August AB's? We'll obviously take this with joy. BUT, he is very far from out of the weeds.
