Game 3: Packers @ Titans - Sunday, Sept 22nd at 12PM

MLF has been doing a good job calling plays today, but not on that goal to go.  Going to have a hard time running between the tackles today.

Are the Vikings going to come back down to earth, or ...?

I thought today against Houston would be their reality check. They were the ones in the division I didn't think we really needed to worry about.

All the more sweeter when we beat them next week.

The defensive front can stop self-destructing anytime now, thanks.

Thought for sure there had to be movement offensively when it looked like several of our guys jumped. But yeah, pre-snap penalties on defense have bitten us twice today and already cost us 4 points.

Nice to have more points in one quarter than all of last week.

They definitely opened up the playbook for Willis this week and I like it. Last week they just kind of played to get through 60 minutes and hopefully not lose. They'd never win this game running Jacobs 35 times up the gut.

Man, September in the NFL is a lot of noise. Nobody knows who anybody is yet. Health and not being completely buried at 0-3 or 0-4 is the only thing that matters.

Exactly. You had to know the Titans were going to make it a priority to stop Jacobs.

Year after year I feel like we see infuriating play calls right on the edge of FG range that take points off the board.

You have 2nd and 2 on the opposing 40 yard line where you have a good chance to come away with points if you just don't go backwards.

So you call a play with a deep drop for Willis, he can't get out of the pocket and you end up out of FG range and with a longshot convertible distance on 3rd down.

Just a bad, bad play call at that area of the field.

Why are we paying Nixon 18 million/year to NOT return kicks.  That seems a lot to pay a mediocre nickel back

$18 million? That can't be right.
